Slim Shady - The Musical?? I got this from IMDB:
Hard man rapper Eminem's box office success 8 Mile is poised to become a stage musical. The "Stan" hitmaker has given his approval for the semi-autobiographical film to be turned into a musical production, although there are no plans for Eminem to take to the stage himself. But the hip-hop sensation - real name Marshall Mathers - will be bestowed with the title of executive producer. An insider reports, "He was thrilled with the idea that it would also be on the stage. It's quite shocking in parts but Marshall actually sees it as something like West Side Story." The rapper has also been given a three-year deal with Universal Pictures to write and star in his own movies once his European tour finishes this summer. I don't know about you, but this role has Nathan Lane written all over it...

Ten months after this stage release- I can almost predict that Eminem will commision this film as one of the movies he directs and stars in in the next few years. Eight Mile- too hard rap to give different styles of music- but then- a musical with only rap? I din't think that's very much likeable- considering the fact that not too many rap fans attend the theatre.
