Default Why doesn't Tim Duncan at 7 feet but Malik Rose plays center at 6'8?????

I never knew the reason why Tim Ducan never plays Center. Instead they have a guy who is 6'8 playing center. Is Duncan is that much of a PUNK? He wants to take advantage of smaller players-He is a certified sissy.

Solomon just cause the man plays power forward at 7'0 doesn't mean he's a sissy. Your comments are so off the wall. U just say stuff on how u feel which isn't cool. How u know Tim can play center? He may not wanna play center or his coach may not want to play him at center cause he's better at being a power forward. If anybody is a sissy, it's David Robinson. He didn't score today & he fouled out against Shaq. The Spurs should've won at least one game in LA. They couldn't even do that. The Spurs have to win in LA in order for them to take this series. If the Spurs lose game 5, i look for LA to win this series. I don't like the Lakers new uniforms at home, they are ugly. They should continue to wear the yellow uniforms at home. Was Kareem Abdul Jabbar at the game today? I saw a picture of somebody that looks like him at the game today on the internet slapping five with another old guy who looks like Willis Reed.

But my point is he poses matchup problems for other teams because most power forwards are 6'9 and under. He needs to play center and stop taking advantage of shorter players and go up against Shaq like a man .

Yeah Kareem was at the game today. They showed a clip of him sitting next to Bill Russell I believe it was on Inside The NBA when the game was over.

Oh ok so that old guy i saw in the picture with the gray hair was Bill Russell slapping five with Kareem. I guess Bill has lost confidence in his Boston team cause he usually goes to the Celtics playoff games. He was at their home playoff games last yr a couple of times.

Man are u crazy? Tim Duncan is amazing. He is MVP for the 2nd year in a row. I will admit Popavich does have a different way of coaching but he is also Coach of the year. The Spurs are a unique team and it works for them. We play tonight!!!

GO SPURS GO

2 down 2 to go

He was the MVP because he doesn't play his right position. He's taller than almost everybody who plays that position. He should be playing CENTER like a man and stop playing forward like a wuss

Height has nothing to do with it. And I think he should play center too but it doesn't make him a sissy or whatever. He is a great basketball player. But really man your kind of being rediculious. Duncan has had some really great plays this year. Just watch him tonight.

You have to look at the position of center first.

Duncan is a player with great movement all around the perimeter who can shoot, pass, dribble, and move well with or without the ball besides working well under the basket.

How many centers are like that?
Umm, like zero.

Why was Magic Johnson playing point guard at 6'9''?
Because of his skills at the position.

What is all this talk of taking advantage of smaller players all about?

You play to win, you play the position you are best suited for your team's needs.

It's obvious ya'll that Solomon just makes comments on how he feels without giving any thought to what he says so it's no use in arguing with this dude. For him to call Tim a wimp & a wuss is just stupid. I'd like to see u Solomon play in the NBA if u were his height at center & see what u can do. It's easy for people to criticize other people from the sidelines. U can call Tim whatever u wanna call him but he's making millions of dollars & how much money do u have? Zero. Are u getting paid to be a NBA critic? Hell no so shut the hell up.

I want to see Tim go up against Shaq. I would like to see him Try and score agianst the same height as him. Instead of scoring on Mark Madsen

Why are u continuing this argument? Nobody is listening to u. I guess Kevin Garnett is a wuss too since he's damn near 7'0 & he plays power forward. Believe me if Garnett was suited to play center, he would but since he's not, he's gonna continue to play power forward. The Spurs have a center in David Robinson so why put Tim at center also? It's not Tim's fault he's taller than most power forwards & it's not Kevin's fault he's taller than most power forwards. It wasn't Magic Johnson's fault he was taller than most point guards. Size has nothin to do with playing a certain position. Players are only cut out for what position they can play. Everybody isn't versatile Solomon.
