In my opinion, shows from the 80's to 2000's are not Nick at Nite material. Nick at Nite should have stayed with the classics as it was in the beginning.

I think N@N should focus more on the 80's sitcoms and stay away from the 70's sitcoms.

TV Land already airs the old classics. I like that N@N is airing some of the more modern ones. I just wish they'd show more of a variety. I also wish they'd separate from Nickelodeon and become a full 24-hour network.

Before the modern classics came to Nick at Nite, the original classics were airing both on Nick at Nite and TV Land. They made more room for them to get played. Now, TV Land is the only true network that airs Classic TV and nearly 1/3 of programming for the original classics no longer exists. In addition, we get 1/3 less of original classics unlike before.

TBS should air all 70's sitcoms. TV LAND still cuts out too many funny parts

I agree, Nickelodeon should become a 24-hour network, and show some of their own classics and Nick-at-Nite should branch off and have a new channel called something like the "Modern TV Classics Channel" and create an 80s and early 90s network with a larger variety.

I understand the Nick@Nite is trying to focus on newer stuff, but I just don't see Fresh Prince of Bel Air on N@N ... that is just weird!

I have to agree. All those shows mentioned, with the exception of Good Times has aired on Nick at Nite. They are all Nick at Nite material. All of them. I am still trying to get used to this new block.

I don't know what guidelines you would use for "Nick at Nite Material."

But there is one thing I know for sure - shows like Full House and Who's the Boss can never be considered "classics" even if they are 500 years old.

I never heard anyone in my life say (actually in my presence, not online) that either of those is a great show. Or even a good one.

Just because those shows aired on N@N doesn't mean that they are N@N material. There are episodes of The Jeffersons, and Three's company that N@N will not air. IF Good Times was on N@N, they will skip almost every episode. Because of the topics that show dealt with.
