Default South Park or Rugrats

Which cartoon is better? Which cartoon will be remembered more years from now? They do have some simularites. Cartmen and Angellica are both simular characters in terms of being slightly evil.

Both shows use celibirty voices as regulars. South Park uses Issac Hays. Rugrats uses Jack Riley (Mr. Cartlin on the Bob Newhart show), Cree Summer (Freddie on A Different World), and early in the series, the late David Doyle (Bostley on Charlie Angels), though they should have used Jack and Cree to promote the two Rugrats movies, I know kids may not know who they are, but it might spark interest in an older audience. And Cree was on a Different World, which was spunoff from the Cosby Show. Speaking of that, I loved the South Park spoff of Fat Albet, Fat Abbet, "Hey Hey, yeah bitch."

I am getting a little off topic. I like South Park better. Hey South Park is the best cartoon on tv.

The episodes/seasons with Dil all suck, IMO. Not neccesarily ALL BECAUSE of him, I'm just saying the way the show IS with him are bad. I'd rather watch the old "Rugrats" shows before the animation changed and Tommy and Chuckie's voices sounded different. [/end rant]

Well, if you want my opinion, I'd say neither one--we can thank the atrocious Simpsons for these, esp.the comapony Klasky-Csupo rpdoucing RUGRATS. Ren and Stimpy should be on Nick.THankfully it is on TNN which I have.I only wish I had BOOMERANG! Outside of DARIA, BEAVIS AND BUTRHEAD, and REN AND STIMPY I have no interest in any cartoons produced after the 1980s and from THAT decade only the new JETSONS, KWICKY KOALA (created by Tex AVery,Produced by Hanna-Barbera), TROLLIKINS and DRAC PACK (don't ask) even remotely thrill me today. The 1970s,1960s,downward to the great 20s-40s cartoons are my paradise, but that's due to my bieng a baby boomer (I was born on December the 8th,1960) and growing up earlier.

I prefer the more (relatively,mind you!) innocnet era of FLINSTONES,ROCKY,PINK PANTHER,BUGS BUNNY,MICKEY MOUSE,etc.May I live to haveBOOMERANG!!!!!!!

I have never watched a single episode of south park, so I guess that makes the rugrats my favorite.

Niether...because both have gotten extremly stupid. All South Park is is a bunch of swear words and stupid plots, when Rugrats is all basically nothing anymore. They both used to be kinda funny, but they just got dumb.

I like both. I love Rugrats (the older episodes at least) because it is a cute show, and South Park is just so darn funny.

I like both.

I prefer the older episodes of Rugrats to the newer ones though and well South Park is just too damn funny to begin with.
