WHY DO THEY SKIP EPISODES WHEN IT IS GOING TO BE CONTINUED YESTERDAYS EPISODE WAS SUPOST TO BE WERE

The boys graduate from high school and Fonzie reveals that he has also just earned his diploma in night school.
Guest stars: Dick Van Patten and Laurette Spang.

Fonzie learns he cannot get his diploma at the graduation ceremony, only by mail. But he manages to join the graduating class anyway

I really don't know why they skip episodes,but they always seem to skip holiday episodes(christmas, halloween, etc.) and the 3-part episodes(hollywood,fonzie loves pinky, westward ho!)I wish they never skip any episodes agin.

When TV Land purchases the rights to shows, there is a set number of times that they can run each episode. They usually skip holiday episodes so that they can air them at the appropriate times. They can also hold back certain episodes for box sets.
