Are any of you a member of The Onion's NY events newsletter? If not, you should be. Everyone knows the Onion is the funniest satirical newsweekly, right? (if you have no idea what im talking about go to www.theonion.com - you can thank me later)

Anyway, they are always throwing parties or giving away tickets to shows like Radiohead and Upright Citizens Brigade and Sarah Silverman. AND they buy everyone beer at a lot of the events! But you've got to be on their newsletter email list.

The Onion is funny, lol. They once had an article about how a student paper regarding Hamlet 'entertained' a bunch of teachers during their lunch period.
