She was superby played by Diana Hyland who gave the character class ,3-dimensional believability and sympathy. I'm glad we got to see Fonzie date someone with depth who he genuinely cared about . .and even when she confirmed her marital status, he kept his cool and ended their tryst like a gentleman. It almost seemed as though the existance of her husband Mr. Prescott was thrown in at the last minute by writers who couldn't think of any other reason for their bond not to become permanent! Yes, we got to see a glimpse of how he'd treat Ashley by Adrianna's penache- and even got Al's fumbling attempts at flirtation with her via Italian food!
Sadly, less than three months after this episode aired, Diana Hyland (who was set to become a TV star via playing the mother Joan Bradford in 'Eight is Enough') died of breast cancer at age 41- and her death would leave a void for all who knew her including her 2-year-old son and last love John Travolta! |

Alot of Fonzie's girls just seemed to be props, but I did like the way Diana's character was believable and 'human'. It is sad she died at a very young age. She was very talented.

I know this is very old but I had to comment!
This is probably one of my favorite episodes for the same reason - Diana Hyland pulled off the character in a superb way. To this day it's still very sad that she died so young. I still think she's underrated. I do wish there was a little more Ralph though. He's always been my favorite charater. Imagine if it was Ralph and not Fonzie dating Adrianna. Those jokes would drive her nuts since he's way too childish for her! |

This was also the episode with the following exchange between Richie and Fonzie after Fonz splits up with Adriana:
Richie: Let's go bowling. Fonzie: The Fonz does not bowl. Richie: Girl pinboys. Fonzie: The Fonz bowls! I'm sure that was the episode those lines were from. |

I haven't seen the episode in a few years, but the exchange does ring a bell.

No. wrong episode. The quotes from Richie to Fonzie about bowling occur at the end of the episode "Kid Stuff" in season 6.
