Wink Tonight (Wed 5/7)......HERE SHE COMES!!!!

It's Alex!!!!

The start of Alex vs The Hackett Brothers, which quickly unravels into Joe vs Brian.

I really like some of these upcoming episodes as the guys really make fools of themselves.

I'm anxious to see these myself (they'll all be new to me)....

For all of the bad things that I've heard and read about the character of Alex ("She's not funny", "She dragged down the show", etc.), fans really seem to like episodes that feature her.

I can't wait to see Joe and Brian doing the old "Popeye and Bluto" thing over her!

Maybe it's just those 1 AM beverages talking, but when I watch "WINGS", there are times when I DO notice a certain mature sexiness in Fay.....

YA HERE THAT, REBECCA BABY? WE GUYS LOVE YA!

I like Fay because she shows that life doesn't have to stop once you hit age 60. I'm still a good 40-45 years away from becoming a senior citizen, but when I do, I hope I'm as cool as Fay

I also like Alex. It seems like a lot of Wings fans don't.

I thought Alex was a good addition to the show. Her attitude and toughness was a great dymanic with the "Hackett" brothers and her scenes with Helen were always good too.

Lots of great classic comedy in this episode. The gym scence was a riot. I don't think Tim and Steven get the credit they deserve for their physical comedy.

There were also several good lines....when Brian is compairing himself to a champion level jockey and considering Joe to be nothing more then the stable boy it was FUNNY.

But I definitely was glad Farrah Forke joined the cast and thought she had was good for the two years she was on the show.

Really, the only cast member I never appreciated was Bud.

Ah-HA! I hate to say "I told you so", but your situation is the very reason why I always have the VCR taping away, even if I plan on watching the show as it's being presented on NICK.

I've had a VERY busy week at work this week, and although I've been TRYING to stay awake to watch "Wings", I keep falling asleep around 11: 30 and waking up at 3 or 4 AM. If I didn't have my VCR programmed and loaded with blank tape, I would have missed the last 4 or 5 nights of "Wings", but I've been able to enjoy the tapes.

Just something to keep in mind....

I like Alex too! I especially liked the fact that she seems like Helen's buddy. It warmed the cockles of my heart to see Helen with a friend she could girl-talk with.

Love,

Wing<><

I agree!!
Like that part when Alex was sitting at the lunch counter, and both guys saw her at the same time and raced to get to the seat next to her.. Joe trips over all kind of stuff and falls on the floor and then steps on and jumps off the chairs and they slide across the floor.. I was laughing out loud. hehe.
and yes, the scene with them in the gym was really funny. I loved when Brian got caught in that machine.. i forgot what it's called... but you know what i'm talking about. and oh! when he sat in that other one backwards- hahaha!
and then when Joe was on the treadmill, and then when he went to get off and forgot it was on, and he went sliding off of it into the wall behind him. hehe!

The two of them were sooo dorky in the gym. hehehe. Brian's headband!- haa!

So it was a really good episode. Really funny. But I dunno- so far, I don't like Alex. She bugs me... hehe. I'll give her another chance in following episodes tho...
