My mom has a friend who I'll call Eve (not her real name) who she emails and calls her a lot and likes her. She met her last weekend. (She's gay, by the way and so is Eve). Well, Eve had an incident where she works and one of her co-workers, who also is a woman had a crush on Eve, and the co-worker found out that Eve had been emailing my mom and became jealous and now has complained to the boss and said that Eve came onto her. Eve told my mom that it is not true. Eve is very worried now because she might lose her job over this. I don't know Eve that well, but I believe Eve's side of the story because most abused people keep to themselves for years before saying anything, not to mention the fact that my mom has talked to her on the phone and met her. Eve was supposed to be coming to visit us this weekend, but if she has to go to court to defend herself, we might not get to see her for awhile.
