Rod Roddy
Nine years before he replaced Johnny Olson on The Price is Right, Rod Roddy was the announcer on Soap. He was heard in every episode summarizing the previous episode at the beginning and asking questions at the end. He also did the opening spiel that went:
"This is the story of two sisters. Jessica Tate and Mary Campbell. These are the Tates. And these are the Campbells. And this is...SOAP." |
