Mork and Mindy would have been better at 9:30m after Three's Company at the start of the 1979-80 season.

8pm-Happy Days
8:30pm-Laverne and Shirley
9pm-Three's Company
9;30pm-Mork and Mindy

Since all shows were in the top ten after the 78-79 season, the Tuesday night lineup could have been more powerful during the 79-80 season. Why put it on Sunday night?

Putting it on Sunday nights was a huge mistake on the part of ABC and the producers. They wanted Mork and Mindy to attract more viewers on Sunday nights and made alterations by virtually removing all the supporting cast and making more meaningful stories. This is a perfect example of , "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

Yeah it's extremely stupid to move a number 3 show.

I absolutely LOVE that line-up. I wish some network like TV Land would give us that.

My sentiments exactly. They returned it to Thursday to regain the ratings, but it was never the same after that and began a long, slow decline.

When you have a perfect show, why on earth would you want to mess with a formula that works (Fred and Cora, the music shop, etc)??
