Default What's Going ON Here????

OK, fine.....NICK decides to move "WINGS" to 1 AM....I'm not THRILLED with that, but I can deal with it simply by programming my VCR to tape the show every night at 1 AM....

but NOW I find out that they're REALLY messing things up by throwing in "WINGS" episodes at 2:30 AM on certain nights (without much notice or fanfare)...and those 2:30 shows are NOT repeats of 1 AM shows!

What's going ON here?

I don't know! but last night I had to remember to change the vcr timer to tape at 1am & 2:30, and then tonight I have to change it to just tape 2:30, then tomorrow change it back to 1!

It's exhausting!

Love,

Wing<><

I'll tell you ONE thing....

At least with a 1 AM showing, I can TRY to stay up and watch the episode "live" even though I'm taping it.

I tend to be a "night person", and there are some nights when I'm wide-awake at 1 AM....

but there is absolutely NO WAY that I'm even going to TRY to be awake at 2:30 AM! If the VCR isn't programmed to pick up the show at 2:30, then I guess I lose!

I can't even stay up for the 1am show. I need 8 hours o sleep every night so I really need to be asleep by 11 when I gotta work the next day, that is. I would really love to have Wings on at 10 & 10:30, then I could get a good laugh before going to sleep.

When it was on at 11:00/11:30 I was happy, but then I was pushing myself to stay up till midnight...

Oh well... I'm sure am thankful for my vcr.

Love,

Wing

In my younger, bar-hopping days I had NO problem being wide-awake at 2:30 AM....In fact, many times I was sitting in Denny's with my friends, downing after-hours eggs, hash-browns and coffee....I STILL can't believe that I ate that stuff at that hour!

Oh well, time marches on.....

the ones at 2:30 aren't reruns of the 1:00 episodes?!! how annoying!
I gotta start setting my VCR!

and I usually stay up every night to watch the 1:00 episodes. sometimes I'm kinda tired, but a lot of times I'm wide awake. I'm a night person. I love staying up late. even if I have to get up at 8:30 the next morning for class.
But I don't think I'll be staying up until 3 just to watch the 2:30 episodes...
I my VCR

I'm so sick of N@N! I know we should all just be thankful that they're showing it, but Wings is too good of a TV show to deserve this type of horrible treatment.

Hi everyone.
I've been lurking here for a week and a half, and finally signed up tonight, or this morning. Anyway, I used to watch Wings a loooong time ago. First started watching it around 92 or 93 when it first started on USA, then found it later on NBC.
Anyway, I just found it again, and it has been fun rewatching all these old, great episodes. I too wish it were on earlier, but it's not so bad for me because I've become a major night owl after coming back from some time I spent in England. It really messed up my circadian rhythm to say the least.
Anyway, as for the airings being at really sketchy times...here on the west coast I see tonight that it is supposed to be on at 2am as well as 2:30. (I notice that quite a few of you are in the eastern and central time zones. Any other Californians here?) I am about to find out the truth in a few minutes. I nearly missed out on the second 2:30am ep last night. Am glad I stayed up! I hope the rest of you are able to not miss any more of them. I know how maddening it can be...

.....baaahhhh...they're having on All in the Family. Guess it wasn't meant to be, and the tv guide channel is full of $#@*!

Yeah, you really gotta go to the Nick at Nite website & check the schedule there. That's the only thing you can trust.

Plus it tells you which ep# is showing, so you'll know.

http://www.tvland.com/nickatnite/schedule

I went to that other website where you vote for shows to be released to dvd:
http://www.tvshowsondvd.com

When I voted for Wings it was ranked #71... but I have no idea whether the studios actually pay attention to that site... but I figured it couldn't hurt, right?

Love,

Wing<><

I'm a night person to. I stay up for the 12:00 showing even though I wake up 5:00 am to go to work. I have found that the less sleep I get the less tired I am. Is that weird? That is where I am lucky. It show's here at 12:00.

hi and welcome to the board!

and yeah, last night since wings wasn't on at 1 AM, I looked at the TV Guide Channel which said that it was going to be on at 2 and 2:30!! I was like, "yay!!" so i set my VCR just in case I fell asleep, and I was going to watch the 2:00 episode, and then go to bed and just let the 2:30 one tape... well, at 2:00 All In The Family was on!! rrr!
So i just set my VCR for 2:30 and went to bed.
but now tonight I'll have 2 episdoes to watch. yay!
