Thumbs down

My least favorite character on LITB would have to be that Harry Henderson kid. He was supposed to have replaced Larry Mondello, but he was never a Larry. I know he was on like 5 episodes total, and when he was on, he was just annoying. He had that funny voice, too. He's got my vote for worst character. Who the heck needs rumblin' pills for their stomach anyways?

I did not like one of Wally's friends in the later seasons. I think his name was Bill, he looked like he was about 30 years old..

I loved the show but I really wanted to choke Judy and later on, Penny, sometimes. They were so mean to the Beav. Those girls really got on my nerves!

I would have to say Gilbert. He was such a "swarmy" little smart-aleck guy that really didn't care about anybody but himself, especially not for Beaver. I thought Larry Mondello was a whiny, fat pig who was too stupid to live. Judy and Penny were royal pains. Now, I did like Whitey and Richard and little Chuckie. Eddie was just....Eddie- -what more could you say?

My least favorite character (I've only seen ten episodes so far) would have to be Mary Ellen Rogers. Imagine her using the Beav like that. It's just disgraceful.

My least favorite character would have to be Lumpy! He was totally horrible and had no redeeming qualities at all!

A close second would be Gilbert. He was never even half way a friend to the Beaver!

My least favorite would have to be Judy - such a nasty little girl.

Gilbert was a terrible friend to Beaver, but I kind of like watching him.

My least favorite is Gilbert Bates. His diction is too precise. He gets on my nerves. Also, he's a terrible friend. He eggs you on, gets you in trouble, then goes home laughing. (Of course, Beaver was a total idiot for letting that happen to him eighty million times, but that's another story.)

In real life, he was the son of the actor Lyle Talbot, and probably got into show business through connections, not talent.

My second least favorite is Whitey Whitney. Sometimes he was so rotten, he made Gilbert seem decent in comparison! Also, the kid seemed like he might have been a smartass in real life. There's an episode (I think late in the 5th season) where he's talking really loud, as if the director had told him to speak up, or something. Also, he's not a very good actor. He seems to always be on the verge of looking at the camera.

He probably got the job from tagging along with his older brother, who played Wally's friend Touhy in the early seasons.
