Default The official dis everything SONY, it's divisions, and everything made dy them, thread

Hey people, this is finally the one.
If you wanna dis Sony, it's affiliates(divisions), examples incluse Embassy pictures, Columbia Tristar TV/Pictures, Sony Computure Entertainment, Sony Online Entertainment, Naughty Dog, and Sony audio/video, please post.

Remember, things made by Sony and it's affiliates include none other than Everquest online adventures for PS2, the Everquest online series, Sony Playstation 1 and Playstation 2, Sony Stereo receivers, Sony multichannel 5.1/6.1 audio /video receivers, shows like Who's the Boss, The Facts of Life, Silver Spoons, and Diff'rent Strokes, and a number of movies that Columbia-Tri Star has done. And by the way folks, in my oppinion, the very graphics on the Playstation 2 looks really crappy on my big widescreen plasma hdtv ready tv monitor. And that's why I've got the X-box instead.

Let's all dis Sony together, shall we!!!

Angry re: Dissing Sony

Thank you, Michael Jackson, for sharing, but it won't save your "Invincible" album sales one bit.

I wasn't going to respond to this, but I will now. It's just another slam against the Facts of Life and other 80's sitcoms. The Nose-less Prince of Pop just wants to rant. Don't bother with him, people, and he will go away.

Sorry, but I gotta say it...

Sony kicks ass! I really enjoy my Playstation 2. Imo, they have the best titles availabale and even more great one's exclusive to the system coming out like Castlevania and Maximo 2. Not that I don't like X-Box, which I also enjoy but they just don't have the ganes I want and neither does Gamecube. Maybe there's a reason why PS2 is officially selling better than the other two consoles.

Not to mention the fact that The Nanny is from Sony Pictures which is yet just another one of my many reasons to like them. So, 'dissing' Sony would mean boycotting The Nanny and there's no way I'm going to do that.

Also not to mention that many of the Sony products I own, like my stereo and Hi8 camcorder have lasted the test of time.

BTW, you never did mention WHY you want everyone to boycott them.

You mean the Playstation BOO? The FrayStation?

Really, I respect the PS2 and might buy one if the rumored price drops (X-Box: $149, PS2: $149, GameCube: $99) come true. But, I love the Nintendo GameCube, because all of the good franchises are on the GameCube. True, with the recent announcement of Sonic Heroes (an all-new 3D adventure on GameCube, PS2 and X-Box) Sonic is no longer Nintendo-exclusive, more Sonic games are on GameCube than anywhere else. You also have Mario (Super Smash Brothers Melee, Mario Kart Double Dash, Mario Tennis 2, Mario Golf 2, Mario 128), Pokemon (Pokemon Box, Pokemon Stadium 3), Kirby (Kirby Air Ride) and other great games like Animal Crossing and Disney Sports that can only be found on the GameCube. Plus, the controller is flawlessly-designed and those little disks rock! GameCube is much better than the PS2, but that's just my opinion.

Sony makes the Walkman, right? I dropped mine and the cassette mechanism stopped working. My dad gave me his old Toshiba, which still works! So, maybe they should make their cassette walkmans tougher! (Yes, I still listen to cassettes. I have no CD burner, but have a cable to record computer to cassette)

But, I can't bash Sony Pictures TV. Alot of old shows are now owned/distrubited by them.

I think Sony is overrated. As far as I'm concerned my Magnavox, RCA and Emerson products are just as good.

Heh, sorry but you just gave me one of the reasons why I would not want to buy a Gamecube. Heh.
