Gimme a Break is hidden Classic TV
Gimme A Break should be on TVLand because it is classic tv with
memorable characters and episodes. I Will Never forget that time that Nell's diet Group got stuck in an elevator trying to save some Diet guru. I remember the emotional episode when the Chief Died and Nell would not allow any person to move into the Chief's bed room. I remember when Joey came to house collecting from some charity or when Nell had to watch a bratty child because Samantha, who was the child's sitter, went out. I am mad that TVland, who is the home of classic tv, refuses to honor this classic. ALthough, I must admit I hated the final 1986-1987 season because Gimme A break had changed it's focus completely the same way Roseanne would do in it's final season. I am going to watch the Gimme a Break story with great interest. In my opinion, Gimme a Break Rules especially the shows from 1981-1983. |
