Default Talk about Jack and Janet

this is my all time favorite question!! soo....What do you think of the Jack/Janet relationship??

Should they just have stayed platonic?
Should they have gotten together? If so, when? In what episode?
Should they have gotten married in the finale?

I know I'm not the only one who thinks so!!

Please reply!

YES!! Another J/J fan! I'm a huge Jack and Janet fan. I even have a section about them on my Three's Company site.

Ok anyway, back to your questions.

Should they just have stayed platonic? No way. You can tell they liked each other in a special way that Jack could have never had with any of the blondes.

Should they have gotten together? If so, when? In what episode? YES!!! What episode? Either...Janet's Secret since they had to pretend to be married (they looked SO cute together when they were in Janet's bed...mmm) or Mate For Each Other, since they went out with each other, but it was an "accident" (you know they really liked it), but maybe the best choice would be in A Night Not To Remember. When I first saw that episode, I really thought something would happen between them.

Should they have gotten married in the finale? DEFINITELY! In "Cupid Works Overtime" that scene with Jack and Janet on the couch and Janet telling Jack she's leaving the apartment, Jack becomes really sad and speechless. Was he ever like that with any of the blondes when they left? Nope. Just Janet. Yes they are perfect.

Talking to Shane West's Angel

If you liked this post, go to my other one...It's called "Question About 'Janet's Secret' " I know it's the wrong eppie title ( should be My Sister's Keeper) but it talks more about the J/J dynamic

There was an unspoken love between them. It showed itself when Janet's dance teacher told her that the only way she will make it is to sleep with him. When she found out that Jack was right about him it was a powerful moment between those two. I was moved to tears as she displayed her vulnerability and Jack showing compassion.

Jack and Janet are the only two people in tv that I REALLY wanted to see end up together. Many times shows have characters finally become a couple, but it will end up being dull and just predictable (predicatble in a bad way because the "chemistry," if you will, between the two is just weak). The last episodes should not have ended up with Janet getting married and Jack moving in with that Vicky. Yuck. Who cares about that spin-off anyways? I'd like to think that a couple years later, Janet gets an annulment and marries Jack.

Thanks for posting your website, Shane West's Angel. It's awesome! And your post and page about Jack and Janet's relationship is right on.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that episode too! omg, after watching that one, how can anyone NOT say they should be together? When I saw that one for the first time and saw that ending with Michael telling Janet she'd never make it as a dancer. What an idiot. And you could see how hurt Janet was. But then Jack comes to the rescue and makes her feel better. Aww.
