Question about "My Sister's Keeper" - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I've just always wondered about this...WHY exactly was Janet so pissed off when she found Jack in bed with Jenny?? Was it just a shock thing -- she DID tell him not to hit on her -- but WHY did she do that? Is she really just protecting her baby sis' from "big bad Jack" or is is just that she doesn't want him to like her sister?Maybe it hits a little too close to home?? I dunno...is this eppie another one of those 'Janet's-in-love-with-Jack-but-doesn't-know-it things? Appreciate any insight you may have...

Janet was mad because it looked like Jack disrespected her by sleeping with her little sister. But she didn't know it was a accident. Honesly I think Jack knew what he was doing-LOL

I think Janet was just too over protective of her sister. I do think Jack and Janet should have ended up together at the end of the series. I talked about it in the other thread. So I guess a conclusion can be drawn that Janet was interested in Jack when her sister came. But to me, at that point of the series, Janet doesn't yet seem romantically interested in Jack. I see it more toward the end of the series after they'd lived together a long time.

I guess it would be hard for me because i saw Jack and Janet as brother and sister so seeing them together romantically would have been weird.

Honestly, Janet was kind of annoying in this episode. Don't get me wrong, I like Janet but in this episode she was a bit too much.

Yeah, their relationship is more brother and sister to me too, except for the last couple of seasons. I don't know what changed for me. In the Chrissy years, I don't see Jack and Janet as being together at all, but I guess I see the relationship change after they'd lived together so long. It's probably not realistic because, who really finds out they want to be with someone after living with them for 8 years? So that's probably why it was written for Janet and Jack to just stay friends.
