Where are all the LITB bloopers? It seems that there are none. On all the blooper specials and tapes put out over the last few decades there are never any Leave it To Beaver outtakes?!?! Why?!?
Thanks! TOM

I would love to see LITB bloopers too! To me, it seems like back in those days they didn't do that. I mean they didn't think about showing the viewers the bloopers that happened. Then years letter someone must've gotten the idea for other shows that "Hey, let's show America the funnny bloopers the actors make!" Well, they probably didn't say that, but it's fun to watch bloopers.

The very first time that I ever saw outtakes or heard the word "bloopers" was at a "Star Trek" convention in New York City in the early 70s, when Gene Roddenberry showed his personal reel of outtakes. Several years later, his blooper reel was shown on TV, and then several years later, I began to see other shows doing it. I wouldn't be suprised if that's where the practice started, that is, showing outtakes on TV.

I found one the other day. In "The Perfect Father," there's a scene where the boys are playing basketball in the driveway. It's right after Ward raises the basket, making it regulation. For the first few seconds of that scene, Tooey isn't wearing glasses and are they aren't in his hands. When the camera zooms out, he's wearing them.
