I saw the stupid new Miller Lite commercial last night with two men fightng each other instead of two women. Who the hell wants to see two men on a beer commercial? Instead of two beautiful women now we men have to see two men and this is all because of WOMEN!!-My advice to the women out thre is to change the channel when commercial comes on you think is not appropiate for TV. This Miller Lite commercial looks ******** because they now have two men wrestling and beer is a man's product. Couldn't Miller Lite just have ignored all those emails from angry female viewers?

Calm Down. If you want to see girls in bikinis or wrestling I advise you to get a copy of SI The Swimsuit Addition quick. Commercials always change, and they'll have a new one in a few weeks anyway.

The commercial was only changed to make females feel better which makes no sense. Those women should do like i do now, changed the channel when it comes on.

You're just assuming that they changed it because of women. You had your 'chicks' taken away and you're just complaining putting the blame on the feminists. Like I said before, companies change their commercials all the time and it's only a matter of weeks before they change it again.

Believe me, the controversy the first commercial caused is what led to the change. It's obvious because it's the same exact commercial but instead they have two men fighting. You can see the second commericAl is mainly aimed toward women not MEN.

besides, even if you think its a "man's product" (and what, have you never met a woman who drinks beer??) women are still going to see the commercial- would you be disturbed if there was a cosmetics commerical featuring a bunch of guys in speedos?

Maybe they are trying to appeal to BOTH sexes. Thats a possibility. I still see the 2 women commercials, so really, it's not different. Besides, women dont really want to see 2 women in every beer commercial.

You said the commercial was sick before but the point of that commercial is getting the man to buy miller lite and attractive women makes men buy beer. I personally wouldn't want to be around a women who drinks beer-I wouldn't find that to be sexy at ALL!

What makes you think that women find male beer drinkers to be sexy? Being drunk is ugly. It is just as ugly in men as it is in women.

As for the commecials. I have seen neither one of them.

Ad agencies strive to capture an audience. While they do concentrate on one or two core groups of patrons, looking at demographic information like age and location, they also make the occasional ad that just might appeal to a new group of consumers. That's how ads generate sales. Generating revenue is how a company succeeds.

I've never actually seen the commercial in question but it sounds to me like it just objectifies women in order to sell a few cans of beer.
I've never been able to understand what makes it so difficult for men to appreciate women and treat them with the respect they deserve.
I've been told by several people that I act more like a straight man than a gay woman but I still treat women with respect and I don't veiw them as objects like most male orientated magazines/movies/TV shows do.
Why is it so difficult for males to appreciate women???
