Default Jenny?

I have a question...

In season one of "STTW" there was a character named Jenny who was Sabrina's best friend but then when season two started Jenny was mysteriously absent, they never even explained it, does anyone know what happened? was it a network decision in order to improve the show? was it because of the actress herself? what happened?

No idea. I only liked Jenny in the movie, when her character was called Marnie.

I always thought Valerie was the best of the female friends they brought in to the show, along with Dreama. She was cool too. Morgan and Roxie are okay.

Well, at the start of the second season, ABC reportedly decided that some cast changes were in order. They got rid of Paul Feig (Mr. Pool) because they felt that Sabrina and her friends wouldn't follow the same teacher around for two years. I'm guessing they got rid of Jenny because they thought Valerie would be a better foil for Sabrina.

No idea what happened to Jenny, but it did bother me how she suddenly dissapeared. At least when the excellent Valerie left, we got an explanation. But I never liked Jenny that much anyway, so it wasn't that big a deal for me.

I don't know about that. Mrs. Quick stayed for three seasons. I did like Jenny better than Valerie though. I always thought Valerie was just too ditzy and just kind of a dull character. Just my opinion. No offense to any Valerie fans.

Yes, but Mrs. Quick had a purpose for all the three years that she was there - she was the head of the newspaper. Mr. Pool didn't really have any other purpose (besides being a biology teacher,) and it would have looked odd if Sabrina and her friends kept following him around season after season.

I didn't mind that Mr. Pool left, though - I always thought that he was a dull character. And I thought that Mrs. Quick and Mr. Kraft were great additions to the show.

I thought it was odd that they never once mentioned what happened to Jenny and Mr. Pool, though. They just disappeared, and no one ever spoke about them again.

Mr Pool was okay but Mrs Quick was much better and Mr Kraft was awesome. I always missed Mr Kraft but there would've been no point at all to keep him on after Sabrina went to college.

Mr. Pool dissapperaing was ok because often times in high school you have a teacher once and then never see them again, depending on the size of your school. I liked Valire better than jenny too but always wondered why they didn't mention what happened to Jenny.
