Although it wasn't as popular as M*A*S*H, do you think AfterMASH will come out on DVD after all 11 seasons of M*A*S*H are released? Also, there was a single pilot episode based around Radar called W*A*L*T*E*R that was made around the time AfterMASH was made. They should include that in an AfterMASH DVD release.

Send your e-mails to Fox Video and lobby them on this! They would have the best opportunity at marketing the entire "AfterMASH" series and "Walter" pilot as a single set if they released it at the SAME TIME as the 11th and final season DVD set for "M*A*S*H." People will pick up the final season because of the farewell episode, and many will be curious to see "what happened next" if the "AfterMASH" DVD collection is side by side with it in the New Releases racks!

I doubt it will. I don't think the last episode was ever shown either.

Walter isn't going to happen. The very idea of Walter O'Riley as a cop just doesn't wash. Playing the part of a general store owner in Iowa yes, but then what could have become of a plot like that ?
After MASH is long past due to be released. Fox missed a big chance to catch the big wave while it was releasing the single seasons 2 per year. After MASH could have been the Blockbuster closing event to boost sales for those who seek the ' complete collection'. We can only hope the recent resurgence of interest may peek the networks interest. |
