Cool Antonio and Casey- Good couple?

Should Antonio and Casey have been a romantic couple?

I think so. I thought they had more chemistry than Casey did with Brian. I couldn't stand Casey and Brian together, probably because they were ALWAYS together. Antonio deserved happines and Casey needed true love.

I would have liked to see Antonio and Casey get together much more then Casey and Brian too. I think the writers just enjoyed keeping Antonio as the loveable loser. Even though it was way over the top, I enjoyed how Antonio was so smitten and never able to utter a word to Casey for weeks.

But at some point, it would have been fun to see him get some courage and actually win Casey's heart. Or at least date a little. I never really liked Brian and Casey together because it was just too convenient....Joe and Helen are together and how great is it that their brother/sister are together too??

I thought that was just too... creepy! One of them had to date outside those two families. Wings didn't take place in Redneck County, where your parents can get divorced, but still be brother and sister

Also, as much as I love Brian, someone obviously stole his balls and backbone sometime during the 6th or 7th season. Must have been the same person who gave Antonio the Bitter Pills.

I'm divided on this one:

I DON'T think that Antonio and Casey would have made a good couple during Casey's first season with the show....She was simply too stuck-up and snobbish.

However, I DO think that they COULD have made it as a couple during Casey's later "Wings" seasons. During those seasons she became nicer and more down-to-earth....in fact, she became more ditzy than snobbish.

Take that episode where John Ritter guests as Casey's returning husband Stuart. He's now a broke, unemployed loser (or so he's led her to believe), but she doesn't care...she's standing behind him and being supportive anyway....which eventually leads Stuart to say to her in disgust, "You're not the same woman I married!".
I don't think that this episode would have worked during Casey's first season with "Wings"....back then she WOULDN'T have been that accepting!

So while I think that Antonio and Casey could have made a good couple, it would HAVE to have happened after her first season on the show.
