Red face OH NO! They're in the Second House!!

Oh, no! Ward is grey and June has helmet hair. Wally is starting to have that Big Man on Campus creepiness. And Beaver's head is starting to get real, real big.

The Cleavers must be in that Second House!!

Time to switch to Cheers for the next 3 months.

It really is interesting how you can see the show change once they are in the new house. Was this when they moved to ABC? It has a really different feel to it. This is when it starts to become more of a "teen" show rather than having the simple charm of Ward and June raising their boys.

But I do like that Eddie comes back in the form we all know and love him. In the earlier shows, Eddie had not yet been developed. He was just an annoying kid, but in the later shows, well... he's just a masterpiece.

I'm one of the few that actually enjoy seasons 3-6 more the 1 and 2. I just get a kick out of Beaver the way he acts so dumb....and looks dumb too.

And I like Richard also.
Call me odd.

It's funny, but I tend to like whatever season is on. When I get used to the later seasons, I like them better and when the series starts all over again, I think I'll miss all the stuff about Wally and his girlfriends and Beav growing up and discovering girls and all that, and then i get used to it.

Yes, it certainly does have a different feel at the start of season 3. One would think season 3 is when it changed networks, but it actaully went from CBS to ABC after season 1. I sense a slight difference from 1 to 2 as well, probably because, as many have said, season 1 is when the characters are just being developed and need time to get into the groove. But I still think 1 to 2 is a more subtle change, and actually 1 is one of my favorites. But from 2 to 3 I think the change is pretty noticable.

EDITED: Everyone's already probably seen my post, but I figured I'd edit it because I think I was ragging on the show a little too much a couple days ago. Now that season 3 has been on tvland for a while, I'm used to it and liking it more. I feel like frani does-- I tend to like whatever season is on. It just takes me a while to get used to it!

Oh, and, John Sterren-- that was really good what you put on your post about some obvious changes in season 3. LOL. I've seen you being comical about season 6 too. Come to think of it, maybe it's just the new house, Junes hair, and Beavers head that makes me not care too much for season 3.

And, even though season 3 isn't up to snuff, it's no reason to get hysterical and turn on CHEERS! Holy Moly, turn it back to Beaver. The worst episode of Beaver is still more acceptable than any Cheers episode!

I completely agree that the second house eps. are disappointing. There is a lot more warmth in the earlier eps. And more Larry. I always want more Larry.

I liked both houses but I feel a little cozier in the first one.
