I really love this tv classic. I watch it everyday. I hope soon it will come out on video. I wish more shows are like this today.

Agree with you totally, Cathy...however, it would sure be tough to put a show like this together today...the kids on this show were so natural, all of them, and I think it would be just about impossible to assemble a cast today of kids that were as natural as the kids of Mayfield, especially over a 7 year period with not a lot of cast turnover. It would present a tremendous challenge to find kids talented and natural enough in front of a camera who also photograph well. They're just not around any more, unfortunately (For example, I think the LITB movie was terrible, not even close to the series). And, Ward and June had a fantastic chemistry as the parents, which would also be tough to match today. I watched that and it seemed to me just like the Cleavers are a real family. But, at least we have reruns... and the 100th rerun of LITB is certainly better than the first run of almost anything else :-)
