Any Shelley/Hywel Bennett fans out there? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Any fans of the "Shelley" and "Return Of Shelley" shows and their star Hywel Bennett? Not the funniest show ever to come out of the UK,but it summed up the early 80s well,and I've always been a big fan of Bennett.It had a "Keeping Up Appearances" connection,as Josephine "Elizabeth" Tewson played Shelley's landlady,and Clive Swift did a nice turn as a lovelorn dentist.My favorite episode featured "Vicar Of Dibley" regular Gary Waldhorn as an overbearing tycoon and football club owner.

I remember it well. It wasn't the greatest programme ever but there have been a lot worse.

I really liked his dry wit and recently bought all 10 series of Shelley if anyones interested in buying or trading for British Sitcoms/Dramas let me know
