did Happy days and Laverne& shlirely both air on abc the same night as one or the other if yes were they shown back to back

Yes. Both on Tuesday nights beginning @ 8pm. After a few years though it got messed up.

yes they aired back to back in between 77' to 79' on ABC Tues. nights starting at 8:00 pm then in 79' L & S was moved to Thurs. nights

Wouldn't it be great if TVLand aired L&S after HD?

After L&S bombed on Thursdays it relocated back to Tuesdays after HD from 1980-1983. L&S never fully recovered, much like Mork & Mindy didn't fare too well after it's unsuccessful move from Thursdays to Sundays in 1979, then back to Thursdays from 1980-1982.
