I can honestly say this is the happiest moment of my life (Which tells you something about my life).

A simple smile face would not express my happiness. Finally, I can watch the complete episodes. A&E made the first season unwatchable for me, since they cut out some of my favorite scenes. Luckily I taped it off of NBC, but that tape is really starting to wear out.

Oh well,

More than likely, you'll be able to order it through Sony's website. I checked it out earlier, and they have a lot of shows being released this year, including NewsRadio. I'm also looking forward to finally seeing The Tick, as I'm a fan of Johnny Johnson, and it will be interesting to see him in a different role.

P.S.- I also put the announcement on the NewsRadio Fanfic Archive, which I update on the 21st of each month.

I taped every episode of The Tick off of FOX, just because I liked Patrick Warburton as Johnny Johnson. I still haven't seen him on Seinfeld. It's a really funny show, and I wish it was on longer. Dave Foley guest stars in, what turned out to be the last aired episode as a psychiatrist.

This is fantastic! I hope the first set is seasons 1 and 2. Not that just releasing the first season's 7 episodes wouldn't be great. But it would be a lot better if Sony released a 2 season set of 29 episodes.

They should release all five seasons, one per disc if possible, but since most seasons after the first encompassed upward of 22 episodes, this may prove impossible. I'd also like to see new interviews with the cast, plenty of outtakes, and audio commentary tracks for selected episodes. Additionally, they should include any and all original TV commercials that aired to advertise the show. Did I miss anything?

As much a I'd love to see bonus features, the other Sony DVD's (such as All in the Family, The Jeffersons, Sanford and Son, Good Times) they don't have any special features. Not even scene selections.

I hope they release the first two seasons together as well. I wouldn't have thought that, but "Family Guy, Vol. 1" is the first 28 episodes, which covers the first two seasons. So it is possible. So in a couple years, we should have every episode on DVD. Considering how long they release the seasons. One of my dreams has finally come true.

And with so many shows on DVD, I kept think to myself, they release "Dawson's Creek" on DVD. They released "Mad About You" on DVD. They even released "Good Times". Why are they not selling "NewsRadio"? And Now They Are ! ! !

No word on the exact date; the e-mail from Sony merely said 'later this year'. I suggest checking their website for updates. I'm sure they will announce it as soon as it happens. That's about all I can tell you. I'll be doing the same, of course!

Now all I need is Titus to get on DVD, and I will be set for life. I mean, come on, they are releasing Dilbert on DVD, which got terrible ratings, but not Titus! So unfair.
