Ruthie and Lucy don't have famous bible names, and I figure that it is on purpose. Eric not having a biblical name is probably just coincidence, but they might have did that on purpose.I don't know for sure.

Lucy doesn't make sense though. You'd think Eric would want all his kids' names to be Biblical. Kristen |

Annie isn't a biblical name unless her real name is Anna. Lucy is not, nor is Eric.

Ruthie is sufficient enough biblically. Ruthie is a child so of course they will call her that. Annie's name is debatable. Eric and Lucy are the ministers in the family and they don't have biblical names. Ironic, huh? Getting back to Ruthie, I believe her name derived from a biblical perspective and we call Matt by the name of Matt and relate it from the book of Matthew. Lucy may have been named biblically, though.

Of course, Ruthie was named after Ruth, Annie's Mom. At the same time, it is also obvious that it was done as a biblical name. It makes sense that it would be the kids in the minister's family that had the biblical name.
