Default FT On Nick at Nite

I don't like how N@N is airing FT.

What really makes me mad is when Nick At Nite only plays the first half of a two part episode. As Iv'e said on other message boards, who the heck wants to only see the first half of a two part story?

They started off by only playing the first part of the "All In The Neighborhood" episode, then they only played the first half of "They Can't Take That Away From Me", next they do this with "Wrap Around The Clock", then they skip "Alex Doesn't Live Here Anymore" altogether, and most recently they skipped part 2 of "The Fugitive". Why would they do this?

I tend to be patient with N@N, and like to give them the bebefit of the doubt, but after skipping the second part of a two parter for the fourth time in a row the other night, they have finally managed to really get on my nerves. It's almost as if the people responsible for playing the show have been drunk in the control room or something.

I still have faith in N@N and am still a fan, but unfortunately I have lost faith in them in regards to our favorite show. Within the next few years they're going to be bringing in more of my favorite shows. I just hope that when they do, they'll give these shows more respect then they've given Family Ties!

Gosh, I wish they would atleast give an explanation as to why they are doing this. It makes absolutely no sense! I'm trying to tape certain episodes for somebody and N@N is making it extremely difficult for me.

Just my thought Maybe they don't own certain episodes so maybe that's why they can't and don't air them. I don't get to watch FT since they moved it to 5 a.m, but have they showed these episodes you all mentioned before? IF not then maybe they don't own those.

When Vision TV aired Family Ties back in 2000 or 2001 the station did the same thing. They'd play the first part on a Friday and then skip the second part of the episode and wouldn't play it on the following Monday. I eventually saw part 2, but it was a long time before the two episodes were both shown during the week one part was one day and the folllowing day they continued it. But, it is very annoying that they do that.

this is why Disney Channel or a RESPONSIBLE channel should steal N@N's rights to FT...bahahaha >=)

No not Disney, if they aired FT you would get alot of edited and banned episodes. They do that with Boy Meets World. If there's references to pre marital sex and alcohol they won't show episodes that have these things in them. So they wouldn't show alot of FT episodes.
