I had 2 orders last week for the WKRP Set of tapes that I have so I finally sat down and WATCHED some of what I was taping and I am really finding myself enjoying this show, completely and thoroughly. The laughs and lines are comical, the comedy is good, the writing is good. It's clear to see watching these tapes why this show is such a classic!
In Concert so far is my favorite episode. |

On my left, I saw days upon days of lipstick and ticking clocks, dirty looks and quiet whisperings. And burning secrets that just won't ever die away. And on my right, what could I picture? The blue sky, the desert earth, stretching out into the eerie infinity. A beautiful never-ending nothing. ~Justine, "The Good Girl" *** Bush for President! |

In Concert is a really good episode.
What people tend to forget is that the episode is mostly comical. It is not serious and preachy and in fact is very humorous up until near the very end when the Cincinatti Who concert tragedy had to be addressed. And even that was done tastefully and without being ominous and overbearing. Keep watching the show and please post here often! |

Johnny Fever was my favorite and I love Venus as well. One episode that I was not particularly fond of (but I will be watching again as I got another order) was the episode that guest starred Peter Marshall (I think that is his name) and they went into the life of Herb. Don't know the names of all the episodes yet. I need to watch the shows again and get more acquainted with the characters and situations, know the titles, etc. |

I think the ep you mean is "real families" - the reality show one.
I love any scene that involves Venus, Herb and Les playing off each other. You can really tell they are having a good time. I always thought it was really interesting that "Jennifer, Herb, and Venus" were all realy close friends in real life. One would kind of picture all the "cool kids" being buddies and hanging out, but that wasnt really the case. Of course, when you get a bunch of comedians together, its got to be fun! |
