Was there ever an instance where June wore pants? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I was just sitting here thinking about it. I cant remember one time when June had slacks of any sort on. Even when they went camping she had a dress on. Does anyone else know. I love LITB and I love to analyze it.

I thought June was seen wearing slacks when they stayed in that cabin for a weekend. Also, I remember once she was doing some weeding in the front yard-- I think because the boys failed to do it-- and she was wearing slacks and a big hat.

This post was from way back in April, but I thought I would bring it back and bump it up, so to speak. But yeah, there are two instances where June wears pants. The first episode is "The Paper Route" where Wally and Beaver get a paper route to help pay for a new bicycle they want. The truck delivering the newspapers drops the stack of papers right onto June's newly planted Marigolds, and this is where she has pants on. The other time was in the episode "The Happy Weekend." Ward takes over Fred Rutherford's reservations for Shadow Lake, and he the boys and June travel up there for the weekend. At first, Beaver and Wally would rather see Jungle Feaver at the theatre, but Ward forces them to go. When they arrive at the cabin for the weekend, this is the other instace where June is shown wearing pants. These are the two episodes that I know of her wearing pants, but that is all. If anybody else has any ideas about this subject, message back.

I can think of two other episodes where June wears pants. In the episode "Wally's Girl Trouble" June has on pants when she helps Beaver do the yardwork for Wally, who went to see his girlfriend and forgot to do it. In the episode "Dance Contest" June is outside cutting flowers and she has on pants.
