Vanessa really didn't add anything to the show. When Raven entered the scene, Rudy was put on a back burner. These two characters would never have been missed.

I think Denise added a lot-she was very a funny character-Rudy and Vanessa added nothing.

Default WHATTTTTT?

I can't believe what i'm hearing. We're talking about a family here. Every member of that family was important in their own way, especially the immediate family. Sure vanessa was a little clowny and did dufus things thouigh she was very smart on the show, that was the point. To get people riled up at the stupid things she did and then show how the parents sraightened her out in their own "huxtable way"( think of when vanessa got drunk with the drinking game). denise provided the child that was misguided and slacker-like, which alot of people are like(maybe not that much). She was important because it showed how a child like that could survive in a house with parents, grandparents and others who were strong influences of success.Rudy was the baby of the family, the representation of adolescence and growing up problems in a child's life, very important. Theo, well we all know his part was very important being the only other male in the house. And sondra was important because she represented the actual success and produce socially of cliff and clair. And to end my little essay, i believe all of them were very important, c'mon people, it's a family we're talkin about, though be it a television show. think about saying that your little brother's influence in the family could go without being missed.IT's a family.

Default Gosh, why all the negativity?

To me, all these characters were good and were funny. I saw nothing wrong with Vanessa although she was kind of annoying with all that intellect about her and Dabnis the final season, but let's not beat these characters up, though.

Put the G in GOOFY. Now that's funny.

Personally, I could pick apart all the girls on the show. I liked Denise in the first season. Come to think of it, Vanessa wasn't too annoying the first season either. As she grew older, I wanted to toss her over the side of a ship. You may say that's cruel. It was cruel for the girl to subject the nation to that hair of hers. But, I'm not here to talk about hair. I'm here to talk about annoying Cosby chics. Sondra--she's my vote. I never thought she was particularly cool. And marrying Elvin? Let's face it. Even she could have done better. That one guy (who later became Martin) showed interest in her in an early episode. Future radiologist. She could have done Cliff and Clair proud. Why marry a genuine fool who's going nowhere? Yeah, like he could really cut it as a professional. Not like careers are everything, but Elvin had nothing else great about him. Sondra was a drip. And that poor thing must have been running an awful fever to think her mother was stealing her kids.
