Default Happy Easter Special (Script form)

This is usually a secular soap-comedy that I do on a weekly basis. For Easter, I have posted this on many websites and would like to post it here as well. The meaning of Easter is not secular and I hope that people will edit, paste, and send this message to as many people as you know for the most important Holiday that gave us our Salvation.

Enjoy!!!!

As The Jewel Sparkles Happy Easter Special

(We start this holiday episode where Judy Long is looking at a Gospel tract.)

Judy: Hey Brian, look what I found?

Brian: Yeah right. Another pamphlet telling me that I need to be saved.

(Oh but Brian, you do. If you don't, you go to hell. Why do you go to hell if you don't get saved? Why does God allow you to go to hell when you don't accept Christ? We will let you know in this special Easter episode of "As the Jewel Sparkles")

(We start this episode where Brian upstairs.)

Brian: Hi Rob. Did you lose any more of the store's money?

Rob: (walks by and says jokingly) A little. This time it was only twenty five dollars.

Brian: Well at least you're getting better on that.

Rob: Yeah well, what can I say?

Brian: (heads towards the door to go downstairs)

Rob: (Holds the door open for Brian)

Brian: What are you going to push me down the stairs? (Brian, not seeing the spilled coffee someone brought down earlier, slips and falls down the flight of stairs)

Rob: (terrified, looks around and quickly runs tiptoed towards the other flight of stairs, so nobody thinks that Rob actually helped Brian fall down the stairs. Rob then goes downstairs and goes up to the Service Desk where Cassandra is working)

Cassandra: Where the hell is Brian? He is suppose to give me those figures.

Rob: I don't know, but I heard him say something and then I heard what sounded like something falling down the stairs.

Cassandra: (Rushes towards the door and opens it, only to find Brian dead.) Oh my God! (fearful and trembling, she dialls 911).

(As Brian is laying there, his unsteady pulse drops into non-existance. Brian is lowering, like he is riding an elevator at the core of the earth.)

Brian: Why am I sinking?

(There he sees a glorious being, that will shortly fill Brian in on all the details. The environment looks dark and hazy)

Brian: (terrified says) Where am I?

Angel: You are entering the waiting place.

Brian: The waiting place for what?

Angel: You are waiting to be judged. All who are not written in the book of life wait here until Judgement day before their destination.

Brian: Am I going to heaven?

Angel: If you were going to heaven, you would not be in this totally dark place. When I leave you, you will wait in total darkness for your sentence to be carried out.

Brian: Wait, wait a minute. Why am I not written in this Book of Life? How can you tell that I am not going to go to heaven after judgment?

Angel: Well, if you were going to heaven, you would not have to wait. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Haven't you ever read II Corinthians 5:6-11 in the Holy Bible?

Brian: I never read the Bible. The Bible was written by a bunch of men who wanted to squander up a bunch of fairy tales.

Angel: Well All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. (II Timothy 3:16-17) In other words, God is the author and the men were the writers. In a way, it's kind of like a screenplay. An author writes the book, and the writer writes the dialouge. No matter which way you put it, the same message and story gets out.

Brian: (swallows hard) You said earlier that I am not written in the book of life. Am I going to hell?

Angel: All who do not accept Jesus Christ do not have their names written in the book of life.

Brian: Oh, so you're saying that God says Worship me, or you will go to hell?

Angel: Here is the whole deal. God gives people free will to do whatever they choose. What he doesn't allow in heaven is sin, and you Brian have died in your sins. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23) For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). What that is saying Brian is that everyone is a sinner and deserves hell. That is where Jesus Christ comes in. God sent his son Jesus Christ down to earth to pay for our sins. For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved (John 3:17). You see since God does not allow sin into heaven, he would have to send down a sinless person and that is his son Jesus Christ. He knew no sin. When Christ died on the cross on Good Friday, he was doing it for us. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him (II Corinthians 5:21).

Brian: I've never heard it put quite that way.

Angel: And that is why high volumes of people are here and will continue to pack house.

Brian: But, I was a pretty good person.

Angel: Works has nothing to do with it. For by grace are ye saved through faith (in Christ), and not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; NOT OF WORKS, lest any man should boast (Ephesians 2:8-9). The bible also talks about works being compared to as filthy rags. In Isaiah 64:6 it says But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

Brian: (Growing more scared as the angel is providing more
insight to him) Alright angel, tell me more about the sacrifice.

Angel: As Jesus, the sinless sacrifice was hanging on the cross, God poured all of his wrath on his son, which means that God put all of the sin that has ever and will ever exist and put it all on his sinless son. Jesus died and was buried.

Brian: But didn't he rise? At work for Easter, we have balloons that say "He Is Risen".

Angel: He did rise up. God hath raised Jesus (God the son) from the dead as a symbol. The symbol is simply that you will die, but by Jesus, you will have eternal life. You see, sin separates us from God. But Jesus is the bridge to get to God.

Brian: Angel, I have never had a chance to listen to this stuff before.

Angel: Oh, yes you have. The information has been at your disposal for sometime now. Here is you the other day talking to a co-worker. (Shows Brian talking to Judy Long)

Judy: Hey Brian, look what I found?

Brian: Yeah right. Another pamphlet telling me that I need to be saved.

(The vision dissolves)

Angel: Fear is making you want to accept Christ. Faith should have steered you into wanting to accept Christ when you were alive, not fear. After you see that the Spirit world is real, now you are interested. It is just like in John 20:29. Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: Blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. You Brian have seen me now, and now you believe. You in your body have not had an ounce of faith, until you and your body separated. Also, you mentioned to Judy, that it was another pamphlet. You have been taught this message before and it has been there on earth at your disposal.

Brian: (breaking into tears, weeping and gnashing his teeth) Yeah, but I....

Angel: You just chose not to believe it. You chose not to claim your free gift, and now you've decided to take the wrath of your sins yourself instead of claiming the receipt that Christ has already paid for.

Brian: (weeping so hard, he realizes that eternity is about to be spent in hell). So, there is no hope for me?

Angel: Some people may get a second chance, but most will not.

Brian: How do you claim that receipt that Christ paid in full?

Angel: The sinner's prayer consists of this, only this, and simply this.

In a prayer aloud, talk to Christ and
1. Admit you're a sinner (Romans 3:10)-- As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

2. Be Willing to turn from sin (repentance) (Acts17:30)-- And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men (and women) everywhere to repent: (Matthew 9:13) Christ said---But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

3. Believe that Jesus died for you, and that he was buried and rose from the dead. (Romans 10:9-10) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Jesus was sinless, so only a sinless sacrifice could only be used. That is why God sent his son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins. God does not allow sin into heaven and when you accept Christ, your sins go back in time and are washed by the hanging savior's blood that wa dripping from him. God put all of mankind's sins on his son so that the people who accept this sinless man, can be forgiven eternally and not die in their own sins. People go to hell because they choose to reject Christ and his free gift. They decide to go their own way and they die in their own sins. Since God does not allow sin into heaven, hell is used for the unforgiven. Hell is where we all deserve to go. I deserve to go there, and so does everyone else. But Christ provides a "way out" because of his sacrifice for us. (That is one of the reasons why time is labeled A.D. and B.C. If Christ never came to earth, why did the timetable all of a sudden set at A.D. In other words, why is this 2003 A.D. Why didn't is just continue at the year 6,001? If Jesus was just an ordinary man, time would have not been reset because of him. Jesus is the son of God, and nature and history reflects that.)

4.Through prayer, invite Jesus into your life to become your personal savior. (Romans 10:13)-- For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

If you want an instant version of the prayer, pray this. But it has to come from your heart (meaning that you mean what you're praying).

Dear God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed his precious blood and died for my sins. I am willing to turn from sin with your help. I now invite Jesus Christ to come into my heart and life to save me and be my personal savior.

That is all there is to it!

Brian: Man, I wished that I did that. I wished that I did that! (tears roll down his cheek like a waterfall)

Angel: Now Brian, I will show you a mystery.

(All of a sudden, Brian awakes in his bed. He is full of sweat as though he has been swimming in a Lake of fire. He sees his wife Stacey next to him.)

Stacey: What's wrong Bri?

Brian: I just had a horrible dream.

Stacey: Oh really? What was it?

Brian: I died and an angel talked to me about the roots of Easter and the message of salvation that is hidden under fables like the Easter bunny.

Stacey: Don't be silly. Now, you're starting to sound like a Christian.

Brian: (turns slowly to look at her as she will experience the same thing he did when it is too late, unless something can sway her in the right direction.)

(Now, do you want to go through the same truths Brian has? Brian was lucky enough to have a second chance. Most will not have a second chance. All of the information you need has been simply embedded in this special Easter episode of "As the Jewel Sparkles." You have the choice, and you have to decide which way you want to go. God gave you the free will. If you want to continue going your way, you will be saying that you want to take on the wrath of your sins yourself. If you claim the reciept that Christ paid in full for you on the cross, you will spend eternity in heaven. Paul wrote in I Corinthains 2:9-10, after being dead for a short time and having an out-of-body experience: But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his spirit: for the spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. The choice is up to you and only you. This is all very real, and if you decide not to believe it now, it will be revealed unto you just like it was revealed to Brian in this episode. Think about it, and if you decide to take Christ up on his offer, than I congratulate you. If you didn't, then you have chosen your destination that is not necessary if you accept Christ. We all deserve hell, and thank God that Easter reminds us that God loved us so much that in John 3:16, he wrote: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. To everyone reading this, have a very Happy Easter!! and take care. --Robert W. Case)

On the next episode of "As the Jewel Sparkles" we will continue with our regular continuing storyline. Thanks for reading, and find out what is in for our characters on the next episode of "As the Jewel Sparkles")

It really didn't take all that long. I write these episodes in advance, and wait until the right time to release them. Now, I am back to releasing the regular storyline.

I also posted this up on
projectgreenlight, E-bay (under the title "An Easter Message", raptureready, hannity.com, and here.

On a regular basis, some of these shows are a little hot to handle, especially since most of these stories are true stories combined with satire and comedy. The thing with Judy reading the gospel track and Brian mentioning it was all true. I then decided to make a story for Easter about that type os situation since Easter was intended for Christ to bring Salvation to the world, not condemnation.
