Question Characters Getting Drunk

I can think of a few.

Well, Otis on The Andy Griffith Show was always drunk.

Rob Petrie on The Dick Van Dyke Show was funny when tanked.

Bob Hartley got drunk a few times on The Bob Newhart Show, and it was hilarious.

I recall Flo on The Jeffersons getting sloshed. It was funny.

Barney Fife on The Andy Griffith Show was all the time getting drunk on something. He didn't do it on purpose, he'd just fall into drinking situations.

Archie Bunker- Also got drunk a couple of times, one of the eps was downright hilarious (Archie in the Cellar) and the other one was serious

Mike Stivic- Got drunk a couple of times on All in the Family. Don't mean to be mean to Rob Reiner, but his drunk acting isn't very good, imo. I like Rob, but the drunk acting, just watch it and you'll see what I mean.

Edith Bunker- Got drunk a couple of times.

Aunt Bee on the Andy Griffith Show when she drank that medicine and she was singing "Toot Toot Tootsie Goodbye". The medicine was called "Colonel Harvey's Elixir"

Lionel on the Jeffersons when he was getting ready for his college graduation.

Richie on Happy Days at a college party.

Richie on Happy Days in a very early episode where him and Potsie were at Potsie's uncle Marine party.

Rachel got drunk on FRIENDS and called Ross and told him she was over him...when she really was not.

Chandler got drunk and made out with one of Joey' sisters but could not remember which one.

Ross got drunk and slept with Chloe the copy shop girl...when he and Rachel were "on a break".

Monica got drunk when she was out with the Fake Monica "living it up" and blew off work.

Thumbs up

I am very surprised that no one has mentioned Lucy. The Lucy character from various Lucy sitcoms got drunk several of times. There's at least about a dozen of episodes where she got drunk. Most of them were quite funny.

Richie also got drunk when he came back to visit everyone on the episode titled "Welcome Home" (Part 2). He ended up punching Fonzie in the face!
