I could relate most to these episodes;

When an old friend of Beaver visits,and both of them realize they've outgrown the kind of games they used to play two years or so before.

When Beaver is in 7th grade and realizes he is aging,and his old grownup friends(Miss Landers and the Fire Chief)tell him about the new,"little friends,"they have.

When Beaver has to write a book report,sees a movie and does the report from that.It is so different that he is caught right away!

My favorite episode was"Wallys haircomb". He thought he was really cool with his new style. The thing I loved about it was when ever he appeared with his new hairstyle they would play this old biker music. You had to love the way June lost her temper and told Wally to comb the grease out of his hair.

One of my faves is where Gilbert and Beav are alone at the Cleavers at night watching a scary movie and they look outside and see a gorilla (Lumpy in costume) parked outside in a car.

My favorite episode is the one where Beaver loses his haircut money and Wally gives him the awful haircut. Then the boys try to keep Ward and June from finding out by wearing stocking caps and saying it's for initiation into a secret club.

One of my favorites is "Wally's Track Meet." The track team has just been warned by the coach about horsing around, and Eddie and Lumpy start throwing wet towels at Wally, who throws them back. But the coach walks in, catches Wally, and kicks him off the team for the upcoming meet at another town, which the Cleaver family had made plans to attend. Beaver goes to talk to Lumpy to try to appeal to his conscience and admit that he and and Eddie started the towel fight. Although it is unrealistic, this does work and Lumpy admits it, first to his "daddy," Fred-- who had called Ward gloating over Wally's suspension-- then to the coach. Beaver is elated, thinking he got Wally back into the meet (and for himself a good time as a stuff-your-face sports fan), but Ward has to tell him Wally is still suspended because he took part.

Then there are 2 interesting bits of philosophy near the end. First, Beaver refers to TV westerns and says "if the other guy draws first, you can blow his head off," meaning Wally should be given a self-defense alibi. But Ward says, "Beaver, this may come as a shock to you, but life isn't exactly like television." Second, as Wally says he couldn't help throwing the towels back because they "made [him] so mad," Ward says, "Son, you're just going to have to learn to not let people make you that mad; because what you do is your own responsibility, no matter *why* you do it." Finally, as Ward and June are alone, June ask Ward what HE would have done if anyone had hit him with a wet towel. He admits he would have throw it back, too. She says, "Ward Cleaver, you're no better than your son!" to which he replies, "No, but what's wrong with wanting my son to be better than I was?"
