Default Variety Show Channel

Wouldn't it be cool if there was a Variety Show Channel? They could run shows like;

The Carol Burnett Show
Sonny and Cher
Ed Sullivan Show
Hollywood Palace
Shindig
The Johnny Cash Show
The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour
The Barbara Mandrell Show
Donny and Marie
Red Skelton
Your Show of Shows

You get the idea!

I'd watch if it involved the Flip Wilson show.

They used to show Sonny and Cher and the Flip Wilson Show on TVLand. Maybe they will bring them back.

It is a really good idea Penny.

Variety shows were a staple of TV in it's early days, yet TV Land never plays them.

I would love to see the Jackie Gleason Show and Milton Bearle again.
Not to mention Ernie Kovaks.

Default how about Dean martin/Shields & yarnell

Think about it.Now Iam predating my age here. But back Then you had.Laugh In.Dean Martin.D&Marie.Shields and Yarnell.S&Cher
The carol Burnett Show.Glenn Campbell.Smothers brothers.Mac Davis Show.Flip Wilson, the jacksons had a show.Julie Andrews Mary Tyler Moore had one with D.Letterman and m.Keaton.Jimmy rodgers was a summer Replacement for C.Burnett.John Gary had one for The Danny Kaye show. Those are all of the variety shows I Can name.I guess you have to add The Brady Bunch but that was to painful to watch.Danny kaye show was great to.Of course again Iam biased because my dad was on Danny kaye as well along with Joyce van Patten sister of Dick Van Patten.I guess throwing out names is mean so it seems abit show off of me to do this so tell me to stop and I'll get off the boards. It just feels easy talking show biz talk because I have been around it since I was 4.My cousin is Arte Johnson,And Ex step father George DiCenzo was Vicent Bugliosi in Helter Skelter. And My Brother in Law is Cotter Smith ex husband of Mel Harris. So that is why I know so much about the biz.So if I can use my knowledge about show biz to explain or fill out so imformation about a show or a movie I will do so glady without sounding like a jerk.
