I agree that episode is pretty bad. I also think the one where Wally goes out with the "loose girl" was a bit lame.

The one where Wally falls for the maids daugther Margie Manners, isn't very entertaining. In fact, its a good waste of 30 minutes.

"Beaver the Bunny"... first, there was really some lousy planning as to why Beav ended up having to walk so far wearing his costume. Couldn't he have
carried it with him and changed into it at the performance site? and was it not possible for someone to give him a ride? And being chased down by dogs, which hunt by scent, was silly.

"Wally and Alma" is also a bad one for LITB. Alma's mother first connives at the 'romance' between her daughter and Wally, so Wally tries to interest Alma in Eddie, Lumpy, and some other guy. Then Alma's mother makes a visit to Ward and June telling them Wally is interfering with her daughter's 'popularity' by always being around when she has company. Alma's father is a real wimp who does nothing but stand by the fireplace with his pipe in his mouth, leaving little question as to why the mother is such a frustrated, meddling woman.
