First of all.... what happened to prevent Mike Brady from appearing on the final episode??

And second.... In the first scene where Bobby is showing his hair tonic to Carol and Greg, I think the chalkboard in the backround says "Jan call Eve"... Am I right???

robert reed was not happy with the script so sherwood took him out of it i believe thats how it was i could be wrong though

and never noticed about the chalkboard ill have to find my episode on that and see

"Jan call Eve"

Maybe this was a subliminal message being sent to ALL the Brady Bunch actors. This was the final episode, so they would need to forget about being in their characters anymore.

They would soon need to get in touch with their real selves again.

Robert Reed hated the script for the final episode and he refused to appear in it. He did show up and was present on the set while they were filming however, creating so much tension that the studio wanted to have security remove him. Sherwood Schwartz refused however, because he didn't want the kids to witness such an event. Schwartz then said he was fed up with Reed and his complaining, and stated that if the show had returned for a sixth season that Carol Brady would have been a widow.
