Joey and Rachel were in their apartment, and I think Joey said he was having trouble delivering his lines with a lot of emotion since the character Drake is in love with married someone else, or something like that. Rachel told him to draw on past experiences of sadness to bring out the emotion in the scene, and he starts recalling the pain he felt when he was in love with her when he knew he couldn't have her. He kept recalling certain expereinces during that time, though I forget what they were now. Rachel couldn't believe he was saying all that, and I think that is when her feelings for him really started to grow.

That's the basic gist of it. I forget what happened in the last few seconds of the episode, but I think Joey tried to brush it off with some joke. At the very end, Rachel was alone in the room.

Hope this helps! Sorry I wasn't more thorough!

This episode was actually kinda funny. Definitely one of the better ones of this season. I don't know if that has anything to do with Terry Hughes directing it though.

Joey and Rachel aren't together now, but I'm guessing that this season's cliffhanger will probably involve them because you know the writers wouldn't just drop this story.

Yeah, this episode was one of the funnier ones, but I think the funniest one of the season is when Amy visits for Thanksgiving!

At the end of the episode Joey was saying how Drake walks in and sees the woman hes in love with with her husband and all he wants to do is walk over to her and just kiss her, but he cant because her husband is there and he says how when he (joey) used to walk into a room and see Rachel he'd just want to hold her, but he knew he couldnt because she didnt know his real feelings - so he'd just pretend that it wasnt killing him inside - and he also that Drake had to not be seen watching her while he sleeps and thats just like him because he used to just sit there and watch Rachel sleep and even before she put on all her make up and everything he'd say "My god she is beautiful" and rachel was just sitting there in aww because she didnt know any of that and then joey gets a big smile on his face and like pats her back and says something like "Thanks man!!" and walks into his room. It was a cute episode. I'd like to see them get together also.

Hey, I'm new to this forum so excuse me if I'm interupting.

Yeah!, the lottery ticket episode was hilarious! There are so many good moments, especially with Chandler! hehe.

Anywho, what was on my mind is this whole Joey-Rachel thing! So are they going hook up ? or what? I know there's another sesaon next year to smooth out the Ross-Rachel story but the on again/off again relationship is growing tiresome. Can't believe Rachel is falling for Joey now! How the heck are they going to end this seasons?

Well. What I honestly think will happen is that Rachel will end up kissing Joey, but it won't be like what she exepts. I can see her being like disappointed and not feeling anything between their kiss. or like the opposite of that. Like their kiss being great. Its tough to tell, but I think this kiss thing will be a big deal because why would they put her wanting to kiss Joey if it wasn't going anyway, but the only thing is about this Season, that its kinda like put together last minute because of the season change. Who knows what will happened, but I def. think that the Series will end with Ross and Rachel married. It started out with Ross wanting a Wife and Rachel walking in with a wedding dress. I'm just expecting that kind of Irony.
