Mine are:
1st Pace: Gimme A Break (1983 Theme) "Ready for Anything" 2nd Place: Diff'rent Strokes (1985 Theme) 3rd Place: Perfect Strangers (loooong first opening theme) 4th Place: Facts of Life (Final Version) I choose Gimme A Break as the best because Nell is the best singer, and this theme song really defnined the 80's with it's upbeat music (which was more in tune with the 80's than the original Gimme A Break Theme). Diffrent Strokes follows the same as the above. The music was more suitable for the 80's. Perfect Strangers is good because it can relate to anyone and how they want their dream to come true and live their life. Facts of life theme went with the 80's, unlike the other themes it had. |

"Saved By The Bell"-- the song debuted in 1988, so it still counts!

Diff'rent Strokes, Facts of Life, and Archie Bunker's Place are the three I can think of.

Hill Street Blues and Perfect Strangers are my favorites. Honorable mention go to The Brady Brides, The Bradys, Diff'rent Strokes, Growing Pains (B. J. Thomas' version, of course!), Our House and The Wonder Years.

The Bradys aired from February to March 1990, right after the 1980s. I always pair it with The Brady Brides (from 1981) for some reason. |
