Default The Predictions for the Eastern NBA Playoffs

Detriot will beat Orlando 4-0 or 4-1 because Orlando depends on tracy too much and they have no Center.

Philadelphia will beat The Hornets either 4-1 or 4-2 because the Hornets have no good jump shooters and can't run the floor as fast as the sixers.

Mlwaukee will beat the Nets 4-2 or 4-3 because Jason Kidd has a weird supporting cast who are not good jump shooters just slashers.

Indiana will beat Boston 4-1 or 4-2 because the Celtics have no center and only two players-Pierce and Walker.

ROUND 1

EAST:

1. Detroit vs. 8. Orlando = Detroit in 6.
2. New Jersey vs. 7. Milwaukee = New Jersey in 6.
3. Indiana vs. 6. Boston = Indiana in 6.
4. Philadelphia vs. 5. New Orleans = New Orleans in 7.

WEST:

1. San Antonio vs. Phoenix = San Antonio in 5.
2. Sacramento vs. Utah = Sacramento in 5.
3. Dallas vs. Portland = Portland in 7.
4. Minnesota vs. LA Lakers = LA Lakers in 6.

I wanted to see the Dallas/Lakers match, I think Dallas could have beat LA in 7. Dallas does not play well against Portland.

So that means, my bets for Round 2 will have Detroit vs. New Orleans and New Jersey vs. Indiana in the east. In the west San Antonio vs. Lakers and Sacramento vs. Portland.

My round round 3 bets are NJ vs. Detroit and Lakers and Sacramento.

NBA Finals: NJ and Sacramento. Sorry LA, I don't think they can beat Sacramento. I want NJ to win it all, but I think Sacramento will win it all.
The way I want it to be is NJ vs. Portland though.

This is alot more difficult to predict then the Western Conference, because in the Eastern Conference there are no dominating teams. Whereas in the West there are 4 teams that seem pretty much guaranteed to make it to the second round. Those 4 teams are: The Lakers, San Antonio, Sacramento, and Dallas. The Eastern Conference teams are all pretty much on the same skill level this year from what Iv'e seen. Anyway here are my predictions:

Detroit will beat Orlando 4-3

Philadelphia will beat New Orleans 4-2

The Nets will beat Milwaukee 4-3

And Jermaine O'neal will be the X factor in this series as the Pacers will pull it out in the end going 4-3.

I'm sorry to say it, but the only Eastern Conference team I can see that will even have a chance against the Western Conference is Philadelphia. But I may be wrong.

Solomon i think we both better shut up cause Boston beat Indiana today 103-100. Paul Pierce had 40 points. I'm still going with the Pacers but this is a shocker. New Jersey beat the Bucks today 109-96. Jason Kidd had 14 points & 14 assists. Gary Payton only had 8 points.

I see now that Pierce cannot be taken has a joke. He never gave up and it paid off. When the Celtics were dowm by 1 late in the 4th, i knew that pierce was going for the three-ponter but it was a VERY DUMB SHOT because if he had missed everyone would have blamed the coach for not setting up a play for a regular 2-point basket that would have still won the game.
