Angry Kim Caldwell? Why Her???

I was so ticked when they voted off Kim, even though she isn't my favorite. I really liked her, and I know for a fact that shes tons better than Trenyce(ugh!) and Carmen(sorry Carmen fans) I know that although she isn't going to be on American Idol anymore, shes still a really good singer, and I am almost certain that she will get a record deal. So maybe this isn't the end for her!!!

She is 10x better than Trenyce and Carmen combined. And I know she'll get a record deal.

I was devastated though when she got voted off

I was upset too that she got kicked off but I knew it would happen when I called to vote for her and got through 15 times in a row and the rest of the contestant's lines were busy. I think she's a really good singer and has great stage pressence. I like Carmen too but Kim is better than her. I kinda wish Trenyce was kicked off last night. The only song I like that she has sung is the one she did during "Motown" week. I can remember the words but not the name of the song.

Kim C. took the news extremely well. I was moved when she wished all the others good luck and said they would all do good... that she'd vote for them at home. And then right before they sang, "God Bless America", she turned to Carmen said, "My baby, it's alright." and kissed her on the cheek. I thought that was so sweet. She was looking out for Carmen even though she was the one that got kicked off.

I totally agree with everything you just said, and I hope that you're right about Kim. I would like to see good things happen for her.

I think what hurt her was her camera hogging. In the first few rounds, she would push her way into every shot and lean into shots of the people she was sitting near. She also would put herself further forward in dance numbers than anyone else. Let's face it, she certainly wasn't the worst singer but she wasn't close to the best either. I really believe that is why she got the boot before Carmen or Trenyce. Look at Josh, he hasn't been in the bottom 3 yet and he's really stunk it up a couple of times. He's got the marine/pre-teen girl thing working in his favor which will keep him there longer than he probably should be. I think it's these intangibles that are at work with the second-tier talent.

Thumbs up I agree!

I totally agree with upstairssteak, I thought I was the only one that noticed her camera hogging. She also came across as phoney to me. I'm sooooo glad that she's gone, her singing wasn't that great and I also think that's one of the reasons why she first got booted back in the early episodes of American Idol also.

I think "the goat" (Carmen) should have gotten voted off before Kim C. But everyone knows Ruben will win.

Well if it was between Kim and Carmen, I'd rather have had Carmen win.

LOL, the goat? Why do you call her that? I hope it's for the reason I think it is, cuz then I won't feel like the only one who noticed it...
