A local radio station runs a "five-question quiz" every week day morning. If all five questions are not answered correctly, the pot
increases $5/day until all questions are answered correctly. The pot starts at $100 and currently is up to $670. There is one question that has been troublesome and I hope you can help, here it is: Who or what is featured on the number one selling poster of all time in the U.S.? Here are some of the answers given that were wrong; Farrah Fawcett, Marilyn Monroe, smiley face, Uncle Sam - I Want You, Twin Towers, Say NO to Drugs, Poker Dogs, etc. Here are some comments the DJ made: "Boy, you guys are going to kick yourself when you hear the answer" and "When you hear the answer you're not going to believe me, but it's true". Here are some hints that were given: It fits the "Who" and "What" of the question and it is from the early 80's. I thought it may be from a sitcom. |

My guess would be E.T. He was very popular at that time. We went to see the movie 3 times.

It's got to be E.T. He was everywhere in the early 80's.

Well, here's some suggestions:
The I (heart) NYC phrase. John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever, the Beegees, Kurt Cobain, Britney Spears, JFK. he says who or what appears on the most popular poster- how about "words". |
