are there any Family Guy fans here? Did you know that Family Guy has released a DVD? The dVD containing the first two seasons of Family Guy came out this week. The discs also include some special features that you can't access anywhere else. A lot of people have been waiting for this, and now its finally here. For more information, and a discount on the DVD go to http://www.foxhome.com/familyguy.

I picked it up yesterday, but FOX screwed up the artwork on disc one and two of the set. On both, cover and disc read, "episodes 1-7" causing the fourth (and last) disc to read "episodes 15-21" when there are twenty eight episodes. I wouldn't even mention it if I felt that FOX made an honest effort to release a quality product, but the extras are weak, the packaging pretty cheap, the picture is "Jaggy" and often blurry, the commentries aren't very interesting, the artwork is unimaginative (and screwed up) and the price is way too high. But hey atleast they made us wait forever for this inferior project.
I can't believe these are the same people that released the awesome Simpsons DVD box-sets. I recently purchased the Futurama box-set, which was significantly better, thought it too contained those cheesy plastic cases. Seems like when FOX gives gives up on a hit sitcom, they give upon the DVD releases as well. Boo-woo |

The reason why the first disc says episodes 1-7 and the last says 15-21 is because the first season was 7 episodes. The second season 21 episodes. So it adds up to 28 episodes.
