Phil Hendrie's Pro-War Views Could Cost Him Sitcom

RADIO HOST HENDRIE: MY PRO-WAR VIEWS COULD COST ME TV GIG

Los Angeles-based talkradio sensation Phil Hendrie Thursday night charged that his passionate pro-war views may cost him a TV sitcom that has been in development at NBC.

Hendrie announced on his nationally-syndicated show that his war stand could result in a liberal Hollywood backlash against him and his current TV pitch.

"We did the pilot last week," Hendrie revealed. "Listen, everyone at NBC was great. From top to bottom. It has been a dream. But I am on the air everyday. I feel vulnerable expressing my pro-war point of view... Someone could ring up someone and say, 'Well, we're not going to do business with you.'"

"I am thinking outloud. Listen. Nobody at NBC has never said to me, don't express your political opinions. But if Janeane Garofalo is saying she is paying the price and not getting work [at ABC] for her anti-war views, it is just as valid for me to say what I am saying. And the anti-war point of view is much more popular in Hollywood."

This is why a lot of Hollywood people who are pro-war are holding their tongues. They're afraid of being black-listed!
And liberals aways say they are so "open-minded"?! They are only open-minded if you agree with their views!

The thing is, Phil Hendrie consistently says on his radio show that he's a liberal democrat. He just happens to be one that isn't against the war.
