Wink Here's another "What do you think?" question

Hey, guys!

I write the "What do you think?" questions on the "Mama's Family" Message Bord. If you would like to go there, here's the address: www.expage.com/mamafamily. It has a fan-fiction boatrd, and a message board, and everything. U don't have 2 log in or anything, but u will have to soon, because we had some imposters come and make fun of the show, so the director of the site threw them out, and they haven't been back since. My name on there is: "Krazy for Eunice." Every one is really nice. Anyways, here's another 'what do you think?" question:

We all know Naomi had 3 husbands. What do you think keeps Vint and Naomi's marrage alive???

Thanks and God Bless America!

I think it's because Vinton is so different than all her other husbands. They were egotistical scoundrels, and Vint is not. We got a glimpse of what kind of men they were when Leonard Oates came to town and tried to steal Naomi away.

That episode with Jerry Reed playing Naomi ex-husband Leonard Oates was really funny. He inherited a fishing worm company in Tallahassee,Florida and he was called "The Worm King Of Tallahassee" and Mama was trying to get a perm on her hair with Naomi helping out. When Naomi left the perm solution on Mama's hair,it made Mama's hair bigger, and Mama called herself a human Q-Tip. The one where they all were at the Bigger Jigger was really funny. Everyone was there,Mama wanted her hair rolled up,and Naomi dipped the rollers in beer, and Naomi told Leonard that she was very happy in her marriage to Vint. Then Leonard said, "You know, she's(Mama) goofy,he's(Vint) crazy,I'm gone"

I like that episode too. I like the part when Naomi is introducing Leonard to Vint, Mama, Fran, Buzz, and Sonja. And, she says "I'm sorry I can't ask you to stay, Leonard. But we was just on our way to the opera!"

LOL, you guys are recounting one heck of an episode. I liked it when Thelma said, "Shoot, it's too bad the Marx Brothers aren't still around. I could be MOMMO."

Sterling Holobyte has it right about the success of their marriage. Of course, during the later years, I always found the success of their marriage to be because they both turned into real dumbells at the exact same time. What a coincidence, (Sorry, I couldn't resist taking another jab at the syndication years. Didn't like how they got soooo flaky and childlike.)
