I to this day cant figure out why Potsie and Richie drank olive oil @ the Bachelor party?? How does it prevent you from getting drunk? Whats the point??

They got the wrong kind of oil.

It's cooking oil they're supposed to drink, like Wesson. It's supposed to coat your stomach or something. They talked about it in the movie "Burgular." I don't think it works either.
