Why should there be some stupid rivalry between them?? How is
Debora Gibson a "has-been"?? She has a very strong career still going on!! What are you gonna say if and when Beyonce becomes a "has-been"?? I like Beyonce, too, she's hot and all that, but why are you ragging on DG??

One time she forced us to see "Chicago" (the musical) to "expierence the art", but we found it boring & lame.
Sorry, but Debbie is no Catherine Zeta-Jones!
And musicals suck!!!
I also discovered that Debbie's the same age as my friend's mom!!!

Plus I've read interviews where she diisses today's pop music & the clothes the female pop singers wear now.
Look at her in the 1980's. She looked like a bag lady with the black hat & weird looking clothes. Heck, she didn't even have the same appeal as Madonna.

So she's huge in Broadway, who cares. Broadway is for old people & artsy types.
What have she done in the popular music scene?
NOTHING!!!

I bet she doesn't let her kids listen to Britney & Eminem!!!

She's not cool like Mariah, Madonna, and J. Lo!!!
Heck, J Lo has more talent than Debbie!!!

Beyonce' has way more talent & younger, slimmer, sexier, than Debbie Gibson.

I bet nobody in my age range (15) listens to her!!!
She's long forgotten!!!

I wouldn't let my kids even listen to Eminem.

Just because the media doesn't offer 24/7 coverage on an entertainer doesn't mean the entertainer has fallen out of fashion. Hype does not guarantee the worth of an artist. Look at Black Sabbath. It's been only in the past 10 years that they've been acknowledged as one of the greatest bands on the planet.
Critics hated them ever since they began. But I always knew they rule. Not dissing Beyonce nor singing DG's praises, I don't even follow that stuff, but isn't it a little bit like comparing apples to oranges, or mangoes to tangerines?
