Beaver was named that becuause when he was little Wally could'nt pronounce Theodore and neither could Beaver. As for the name Beaver I don't know why he was given that particular name.
Does anyone think Beaver would make a good big brother? I know he can be kinda irresponsible and can be childish and do dopey things, but he can also be sweet and loyal and dependable, and a good friend. So I think in a way he might and maybe if he wised up and followed some of Wally's ways of being a bro, let's hear your opnions please reply soon. :-) |

I believe it was explained in the final episode, "Family Scrapbook" that when young Wally tried to pronounce Theodore it came out "Tweeder," and this somehow morphed into "Beaver." (I don't write 'em, I just watch 'em...)

I remember that last episode... It was sad watching..
None of them seemed as interested as they once were... What was really strange is they didnt say goodbye.. They must have known that was the last show
