For as long I can remember the show existing, I have been a fan. I watched it on NBC, then it went on to local syndication. Once cable really kicked in and Lifetime picked it up, I continued to watch it to today.

Default Re: How long you been GG Fan

I've been a fan since recently last year. I think it was when I first saw Rue's Intimate Portrait that I became a fan of the entire GG. I started watching it last year I think. My Mom and Sister and Aunt used to watch the original time, but I never watched it, unless my Mom was laughing, (i think). I used to watch a little bit of it, but I never understood the show. I was 3 when it first started on TV and I was about 10 when it ended it's original run. I don't know, I just didn't understand it then. There was a lot of adult content in it. I know that now, that's why and the TV wasn't closed captioned then. Not that I never watched TV then it was just harder for me to understand for I am a little deaf. My Mom and whoever I was with would have to explain to me when something happened and I didn't understand, but that was alright, more TV shows and movies are closed captioned, including TGG!!!

I first saw the show when I was 5 but didn't become a big fan until this past summer.

I remember watching it when I was really little. I recently really started liking it again in about '99.

I couldn't even tell you how long I've been a fan, it's been so long. I know
that my mom got me hooked when GG originally aired on NBC.

Since either 1985 or 1986.

I know I wasn't watching it right when it premiered, but I caught it sometime in the first season.
